Down on the Pre-school Farm
Today Fiona Pavlova and the Beetroot crew headed down to the Farm for our Preschool Drama skills session. It was jam packed full of fun today as the children joined me in on a steam train ride with the train driver called out “All aboard! and the whistle went “toot”. The passengers lined up on the platform as the ticket collector yelled “tickets please” and welcomed them on the train. The 1 hour session included: • Warm up game - farm animal fruit salad • Vocal warm up - “G’day Farmer Brown” Interactive farm yard Story time with silly nonsense poetry such as: • “Hee haw!” the turkey cried • The duck began to “moo” • All once the sheep went • “Cocka-doodle-do!” Interactive farm yard songs • 5 little ducks • Old MacDonald had a farm
We also had a room full of animals when he kids all donned animal masks. Then we all headed home on the "Steam Train” with some farm fresh apple pie. Would you like to book a farmyard fun session for your preschool?
